A 3-member delegation of the United Nations Office on Projects Services (UNOPS) today met the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muazzam Jah Ansari at the Central Police Office Peshawar. The delegation was led by Miss Jacqueline. While other members of the delegation included Partnership Officer Peshawar Wajidullah and Roll of Law Specialist Sajad Afzal Afridi. The members of the delegation stayed with the IGP for some time and discussed with him in detail the professionalism of the police, especially the capacity building and training of the police. The provincial police chief briefed the members of the delegation about the reforms introduced in the police department, especially the enhancement of the capabilities of the police personnel and the training of the villagers. The members of the delegation appreciated the reforms introduced in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and expressed their intention to initiate various projects for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police on behalf of UNOPS as well as on behalf of their organization. He also assured technical and technical cooperation in various departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. And expressed hope that the mutual collaboration and cooperation between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and UNOPS will reach completion. In the meeting, it was also agreed upon to initiate various projects to increase the capacity of the police and close contacts and joint efforts for their timely completion.
